The missions of the Aliénor Fund
The promotion, support and development of health research and medical innovation at the University Hospital of Poitiers. Created on the initiative of the University Hospital of Poitiers, the Aliénor endowment fund is a legal entity resulting from the law of August 4, 2008 on the modernization of the economy.
This fund, intended to supplement the means of the CHU of Poitiers devoted to health research and medical innovation, constitutes a collection and management entity under private law collecting different types of resources. Its role is to manage these collected goods while capitalizing them.
The Aliénor Fund uses donations to:

Fund cancer research projects

The extension of the regional cancer center CHU Poitiers;

Promote innovation;

Acquire high-tech equipment for the research laboratories and medical teams of the CHU de Poitiers.
